Astrid S tops the radio statistics for 2025
Astrid S was the most played lead artist on Norwegian radio in 2025, with 1,938 hours of playing time spread across 56 recordings. Behind her are a number of international names on the top list; Alex Warren, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and Sabrina Carpenter.
"Messy" was the most played song
The most played song on Norwegian radio this year overall was "Messy" by Lola Young. It also ranked 59th on the list of most played songs overall over the past 10 years, even though it wasn't released until May 2024.
"Få det på" was the most played Norwegian song
On the list of most played Norwegian songs, "Få det på" by Astrid S and StigBrenner tops the list.
The song was also named song of the month by Spellemann and Topplista in February.
AstridS is also strongly represented on the list:
- 2nd place: "It's raining in Oslo"
- 14th place: "Friskis" (with Kjartan Lauritzen)
- "Symphony", "It's ok if you forget me", "Hurt som good" and "Years" are also in the top 100

Agnes Hoffart was the Norwegian performer with the most recordings used in 2025, a whopping 266. Hoffart plays violin in the Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra.

The statistics show that 3 of the 10 most played main artists were women. If we look only at Norwegian artists, the proportion of women was 5 out of 10.
